It
will be easier to build the locker by following these steps:
Step 1:
Build base with plywood floor.
Step 2:
Build two side frames, fix to base.
Step 3:
Fix framing to back and shelf.
Step 4:
Cut, fix plywood shelf, this acts as a brace. The shelf is too
large to fix later.
Step 5:
Fix framing to roof.
Step 6:
Clad locker with 12mm plywood. The smooth sanded side should
always face the outside.
Step 7:
Build doorframes, clad and hang. The frame is necessary to
stop doors twisting.
Step 8:
Fix hasp and staple to doors. Fix two pad bolts on timber
blocks, drill holes in floor and roof frame for bolts to lock
into. Use heavy-duty fittings, including padlock, for
security.
Step 9:
Locker may be stained or painted according to paint
manufacturer recommendations.
